I know you probably don’t want to hear more about traveling after a busy holiday season, but hear me out! If you and your spouse are anything like me and Nate, I’ll bet you spent all your time over the holidays with your kids and other family members.
Did you have any “alone” time with your spouse?
We spent Christmas this year in Germany with my parents so Nate and I definitely didn’t have a lot of time when it was just the two of us. Don’t get me wrong though, it was still fun regardless.
I am a strong believer that every marriage needs to include quality time. No kids, no work, just the two of you.
Back in October, Nate and I stayed at the 5th East Hall Bed & Breakfast for our anniversary and we instantly fell in love with the place! And with Valentine’s Day coming up, what better way to celebrate your love than with a little romantic rendezvous?
Here are my 3 reasons to stay at 5th East Hall Bed & Breakfast!
#1: Themed Rooms
Who doesn’t love a really cool themed room? I know I do! We stayed in the Rome Room and it did not disappoint at all!
There is a king-sized circle bed (yes, it was completely round), fully tiled shower with multiple shower heads, candle fireplace, and the cutest table for eating. And it doesn’t end there! Even the bathroom continues the theme with the long sink and wooden divider between the bathroom and sleeping area.
It was so fun to feel like we were transported back in time as soon as we stepped into the room. Although they do have a television equipped with Netflix and Amazon Prime so you don’t have to miss too much.
The other themes that 5th East Hall has are Maui, Cancun, Tahiti, and Paris.
#2: No Check-In or Out Hassle
Unlike other hotels, this B&B is smaller and doesn’t have a full staff on attendance 24/7. That’s good news! It means that you don’t have to wait in line to check in or out!
Nate and I arrived after going to dinner so we technically came after-hours. All we had to do was enter in our phone number into a lock box and that unlocked the front door for us. That’s also how we opened our specific room.
When we left the next morning, we simply walked out of the front door. That’s it!
No need to make awkward conversation with staff or other guests. We didn’t see one other person during our stay, and that was perfect for our anniversary.
#3: It’s All Self-Serve
I already mentioned that each room comes with movie streaming services, but I didn’t tell you that they have DVD’s for the picking in the hallway. You can choose a DVD, bring it to your room, all without having to ask someone for it.
In that same nook, they keep champagne glasses and microwavable popcorn (with a microwave).
Another bonus of 5th East Hall Bed & Breakfast is their food that they keep out all day and night. You can get drinks, cereal, and bread plus spreads anytime of day. And each morning, they bring out fresh crepes, scrambled eggs, bacon, and fruit. You can take anything you want back to your room to eat in private with your partner!
Nate and I loved that we could get whatever we needed no matter what time it was.
5th East Hall Bed & Breakfast was absolutely perfect for me and Nate on our anniversary. It is very romantic and allows you to spend the maximum amount of time together as a couple.
So if you’re in the Utah area or don’t mind traveling for Valentine’s Day, come on over!
