10 Amenities that Make Aarchway Inn (Moab, Utah) Feel Like Home

Over President’s Day weekend, we decided to go down to Moab, Utah and explore some of the stroller-friendly hikes they have. And what better place to stay at than Aarchway Inn!

(See our whole trip on my Highlights bubble titled “Moab, Utah” on Instagram HERE.)

The hotel first caught my attention because of how close they were to Arches National Park (plus Canyonlands National Park and Dead Horse State Park). It only took 5 minutes for us to drive from the parking lot to the Arches Visitor’s Center. We could literally see the mountains right outside our window!

On top of the location, they have soo many amenities that it makes you feel like you are staying at a resort rather than a hotel. Some of the features that we didn’t even have time to use include: heated pool for the family, hot tub for the adults, splash pad for the kids, coffee shop, exercise room, shuttle service, fire pit, and barbecue grills.

I feel like we would need a whole week to see everything Aarchway Inn has to offer!

Granted, we had less time at the hotel because our car broke down halfway there which forced us to go back to our house and switch cars. Needless to say, we didn’t arrive on Saturday until much later than we had originally planned.

Fortunately though, we had the best sleep that night and woke up feeling refreshed and ready to adventure.

Here are my 10 reasons why you should stay at Aarchway Inn the next time you are going to southern Utah!

10 Reasons to Stay at Aarchway Inn in Moab Utah

Inside the Room

Mini-Fridge/Microwave

As much as I love to travel, I am also a homebody. Therefore, I love to come back to my hotel after a long day of exploration and not have to leave again. Aarchway makes that possible with a mini-fridge and microwave in every room. We were able to bring food from home that saved us on money and saved us from having to choose a different restaurant every night.

Ecorite Soaps

As every hotel does, Aarchway Inn keeps soaps and lotions in your room so you can stay clean just in case you forgot anything. They specifically chose to work with Ecorite though, which is a very environmental-friendly product.

Towel Hook

Is there anything more annoying than getting out of the shower and realizing your towel is across the room? Aarchway Inn knows how that feels and has taken care of it! They conveniently have a towel hook right next to the shower.

Saving Water

I still remember when I was a kid on vacation with my family and housekeeping would bring us new towels everyday. Here, they have the option to save water and the environment by choosing not to have your towels and bed sheets washed that often. And let’s be honest, you probably don’t change your sheets every night at your own house, so why would you at a hotel?

Extra Space

Having a child who still sleeps in a crib/play pen, I know how frustrating it can be when hotel rooms don’t seem to have enough space to fit everything. We fortunately didn’t have that problem during our stay in Moab!

Outside the Room

Breakfast

I cannot talk enough about Aarchway’s breakfast – it is the best! When you arrive to their breakfast room, you will see a full buffet layout with scrambled eggs, french toast that you can actually toast to your liking, fruit, yogurt, and more. On Sunday morning, we had sausage, but they swapped that out for bacon on Monday. If you can’t tell, I really appreciate the variety.

Our favorite part of the breakfast though was their self-serve pancake machine! That’s right, a machine that makes the perfect pancakes! Both Nate and I were amazed.

General Store

Am I the only one who forgets things when packing? Even if I have a packing checklist, I always seem to leave something at home. At Aarchway Inn, you don’t have to worry about that! They conveniently have a General Store inside their lobby for anything you may have forgotten.

They have everything from snacks to toothbrushes to chapstick. You can even buy mystery rocks from the local area that have dinosaurs, mermaids, or gems inside. I bought one with an amethyst!

Playground

This adorable playground has everything from swings, slides, and a pirate ship! Yep, it has a pirate ship for the kids to use all their imagination in. The swings were my favorite though because Parker could ride right next to me and Nate.

Tetherball

Who doesn’t love a good tetherball match? It’s always a good choice whether you are by yourself or with a group.

Basketball

I have yet to meet a bigger Utah Jazz fan than my husband Nate. He taught me everything I know about basketball, including how to play it! Needless to say, we are a huge basketball family so having a hoop close by to use made for a fun morning before driving to the parks. In fact, that’s all Parker wanted to do!
